Spectrum Science names Amy Hutnik president of the agency. Currently Spectrum’s chief commercial officer, Hutnik will continue in that role during the transition. Hutnik joined Spectrum in 2013 from pharmaceutical manufacturing company Eversana, where she was general manager—agency, advisory & evidence services. She has also served as CMO at WCG, chief growth & transformation officer at Syneos Health Communications and chief growth officer at inVentiv Health. In her new role, Hutnik will lead Spectrum’s global platform of integrated services including enterprise-wide operations and growth planning. Presidents of the agency’s four strategic pillars (scientific communications, advertising & consulting, clinical trial experience and Spectrum Science Europe) will report directly to Hutnik. Duck Creek Technologies, a provider of property and casualty insurance software and services, brings on Bindu Crandall as CMO. Crandall joins Duck Creek from the CMO spot at Navisite, a digital transformation and IT services provider that is part of Accenture. She was previously SVP of marketing at Optima Healthcare Solutions. At Duck Creek, Crandall is responsible for overseeing the strategic marketing and branding efforts driving Duck Creek’s global expansion and leadership as a provider of P&C insurance software and services. “Bindu is a seasoned marketer and leader who understands how to connect with SaaS customers and deliver value,” said Duck Creek Technologies CEO Mike Jackowski.

JERA Americas Inc., a Houston-based subsidiary of energy company JERA Co., hires Randolph Bell as VP of government and regulatory affairs. Bell most recently served as associate partner at Dentons Global Advisors, where he led client engagement on US and international policy, strategy and advocacy. He has also led international government affairs for renewable energy company Commonwealth Fusion Systems. In his new post, Bell will lead government engagement teams for JERA Americas at the local, state, and federal level with a focus on energy markets crucial to the Company’s business. “His deep expertise in global energy security and policy will be instrumental to our growing team as we deliver innovative solutions to support the reliable transition to a global net zero future,” said JERA Americas CEO Steve O'Rourke.
