GATX Corporation, which leases transportation equipment to customers worldwide, names Wesley Lujan VP, government and industry affairs. Lujan will join the company from Union Pacific, where he most recently served as assistant vice president of external relations. He succeeds Terrence Heidkamp, who is retiring at the end of 2024 and will work with him Lujan over a six-month transition period once he formally joins GATX. In his new role, Lujan will be responsible for GATX’s relationships with North American rail industry associations and regulatory and legislative bodies. “His extensive experience makes him well-suited to represent and promote GATX’s interests with the many government and industry bodies with whom we interact regularly,” said GATX Rail North America EVP and president Paul Titterton.

Premier Lotteries Ireland, which operates the country’s national lottery, appoints Sarah Jennings as CMO. Jennings joins PLI after spending nearly a decade at Sky, most recently overseeing the launch of the WOW streaming service for Sky Germany. She has also served as commercial and marketing director for Sky’s NOW subscription over-the-top streaming television service. “Her extensive experience and strategic vision will be invaluable as we continue to grow and innovate,” said Cian Murphy, CEO designate of PLI.

KP Public Affairs adds Olivia Wright to its environmental consulting and regulatory advocacy practice. Prior to joining KP, Olivia worked as an attorney for the State of California, including as an assistant chief counsel for both the Department of Toxic Substances Control and the Department of Fish and Wildlife. She has also practiced as an environmental attorney at the law firm of Downey Brand, LLP, where she focused on regulatory compliance and complex litigation matters related to hazardous substance contamination, water quality, and drinking water. At KP, she will work with the advocacy team on environmental regulatory, legislative, and policy issues. “Her extensive legal background will be invaluable to KP clients as they navigate the ever-evolving regulatory policies and enforcement activities from state government,” said KP managing partner Michael Burns.
