BMF is named agency of record for Spanx, which offers activewear, apparel, denim, shapewear, intimates, leggings and hosiery. The agency will partner with Spanx to help shape the company’s narrative as well as boost media and consumer awareness. Prior to being named AOR for Spanx, BMF, whose other clients include Gucci, Lilly Pulitzer, Sunglass Hut and Estee Lauder, had already started working with the company, producing its first pop-up series in New York; Washington, DC; and Miami last December. Philz Coffee

SPM Communications signs on as agency of record for Philz Coffee, Skout Organic and DIG. For Philz Coffee, which has nearly 70 locations throughout California and Chicago, SPM will provide national, trade and local market media relations, as well as handling new store openings, brand partnerships, crisis management. Skout Organic, which makes certified organic, gluten-free, vegan and kosher protein bars, kids snack bars and soft-baked cookies, has engaged the agency for brand building, national and trade media relations, product introductions and crisis management. New York-based fast-casual restaurant DIG will rely on SPM for media relations and thought leadership.
