Clara Rodriguez has joined the McGuireWoods law firm as chief marketing and business development officer.
With more than 20 years of marketing experience, she will target opportunities for growth in key sectors including healthcare, energy, life sciences, technology and private equity.
Rodriguez moves to McGuire Woods from Proskauer Rose, where she led client engagement programs and directed marketing efforts across numerous industry groups.
Earlier, she was director of client relations at Baker Botts, and business development and marketing director for Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe’s transactional practices.
“Clara is a creative, forward-thinking leader who will play an important role elevating the McGuireWoods brand, developing new business opportunities, and deploying AI and other technologies to make us better problem-solvers for clients,” said Richard Davis, McGuireWoods’ COO.
She will work in McGuireWoods’ Richmond and DC offices.
