Said Differently, a creative, strategy and customer experience company that recently merged with global digital transformation company Brainwire, recruits former GE global chief marketing and communications officer Linda Boff as its CEO. Boff will lead Said Differently alongside cofounders Rachel Barek and Brian Skahan, as well as Brainvire CEO Chintan Shah. At GE, Boff led the company’s global marketing efforts as it separated into three independent publicly traded companies. “I can’t think of a better leader than Linda, who will leverage her enormous client-side experience to help us write the industry’s next chapter, marrying Said Differently’s creative approach with Brainvire’s ability to deliver comprehensive technology solutions at scale,” said Barek.

The Perry Group hires Kerci Marcello Stroud as EVP. Marcello Stroud comes to the agency from the Rhode Island School of Design, where she served as chief marketing and communications officer. She was previously VP of communications at Teach for America. At The Perry Group, Marcello Stroud will also be a partner in the firm’s education practice, in addition to supporting its commercial and non-profit clients. “Kerci is a strong leader who develops and executes creative communications strategies and campaigns that build and protect organizational brands and identities in often challenging situations,” said The Perry Group president & CEO Greg Perry.

Susan Davis International, a Washington, DC-based special events and public relations agency, brings on Jenny Wang as SVP. Wang was most recently an SVP at CLYDE. Before that, she was a VP at kglobal, and she has also worked at Raffeto Herman Strategic Communications and Ketchum. In her new post, Wang will help spearhead the firm's external representation, play an integral role in business development efforts, and provide clients with senior counsel in crisis management, reputation management, media relations and public affairs.
