SourceCode Communications promotes Kristen Stippich to be the agency’s first US managing director and hires Christa Conte to succeed her as EVP, head of client service. Before joining SourceCode in 2020, Stippich was senior director at Technovation, a nonprofit that empowers girls to pursue careers in the tech industry. She has also been an SVP at Airfoil Group and a VP at Weber Shandwick. In her new post, Stippich will continue to work directly with SourceCode managing partners Greg Mondshein and Rebecca Honeyman on the strategic management and development of the agency’s US business. Conte joins SourceCode from Hotwire, most recently serving as EVP, head of client services, overseeing the $20 million revenue business focused on all client health, operations and resourcing. At SourceCode, she will develop and implement strategies that elevate and expand the firm’s service offerings and excellence in the delivery of its current services, as well as any other future offerings. “Becky and I have always said we’re only as good as the people we have around us, and today we couldn’t be prouder of the team we’ve assembled.,” said Mondshein. The agency has also brought on Jody Johnson, who previously led HR at Clarity Global, so serve as its first, SVP, people & culture.

ROKK Solutions, hires Mary Werden, who most recently served as senior advisor and communications advisor to Congressman Frank Pallone (D-NJ), as VP. Werden advised Pallone on such legislation as the Inflation Reduction Act and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. She was previously communications director to Congressman Bill Foster (D-IL). “Mary’s ability to provide thoughtful strategic communications counsel in regard to healthcare, energy, data privacy, AI and other major issues will be invaluable for our clients, and makes her a strong addition to our team,” said ROKK Partner Kristen Hawn.

Mason promotes Derek Beere to SVP. Beere has been with the agency since 2002, most recently serving as VP, PR director. He will continue in that role, as well as managing Mason’s social media practice. Beere has supported many client programs and campaigns.
