Joe Zarbano, who spent about 14 years at Boston’s WEEI Sports Radio Network, has joined the city’s Regan Communications Group as senior VP-strategic partnerships.
As director of programming and content at WEEI, Zarbano was responsible for the Boston Red Sox Radio Network and its affiliates throughout New England.
He also handled the annual WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund Radio Telethon that raises money for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institution.
Zarbano exited WEEI in 2021 for the director of sponsorship slot at Encore Boston Harbor casino, and the executive director of sports marketing at WynnBet. He forged partnerships with the Sox, Boston Celtics, Boston Bruins and New England Patriots.
Founded in 1984 by George Regan, the firm has offices in Providence, Osterville (Cape Cod), New York, Charleston and Palm Beach.
The shop is No. 40 on O’Dwyer’s rankings of PR firms with 2023 revenues of $20.1M.
