Julie Toran, who has more than 20 years of experience as an analyst and portfolio manager at investment firms, has joined Teneo as managing director in its strategy and communications unit.
She has covered a wide range of sectors and geographies and has focused on all aspects of investor decision-making.
Toran has extensive experience in analyzing historical and expected financial performance, competitive positioning, management strategy and the impact of proxy measures.
Most recently, she was a portfolio manager and analyst of Lazard Asset Management’s global, international and European small cap funds. She also did stints at Franklin Templeton Investments, Para Advisors and Citibank.
At Teneo, Toran will be a member of its investment relations team.
