Dolphin Entertainment, Inc. has acquired Elle Communications, a New York and Los Angeles shop that specializes in social and environmental impact.
It will become a division of Dolphin’s 42 West, entertainment-oriented firm.
Danielle Finck launched Elle in 2008 to amplify the voices of leaders and organizations involved in social, racial and environmental justice.
It has worked with Michael Tubbs, Monica Ramirez, Martin Luther King III, National Domestic Workers Alliance, and National Immigration Law Center.
The Elle team had staffed red carpet events, media trained activists, and held events on Capitol Hill.
Bill O’Dowd, Dolphin founder/CEO, acquired Elle because “our colleagues, clients, and consumers alike care more than ever about the impact being made by the causes they care about and the brands they support.”
John Burns of Clare Advisors handled the Dolphin/Elle transaction.
