SunLine Transit Agency, provider of public transportation in 1,120 square miles of California’s Riverside County, plans to hire a firm to handle PR and video production services.
It serves the cities of Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, Desert Hot Springs, Indio, La Quinta and Coachella.
SunLine is committed to the use of clean fuels and the advancement of alternative energy technologies.
Its mission is to be the primary transportation source for people without an alternative, including those with a physical or mental disability; and a high-quality alternative for people with their own vehicles.
Sunlight’s marketing effort focuses on forging community partnerships, public engagement, youth education, and initiatives tied to public stewardship.
The RFP calls for a partner to advance the SunLight brand and the delivery of positive brand promise.
The selected firm will inform customers, stakeholders and the general public about SunLine’s news and activities.
It will provide crisis services during emergency situations requiring sensitive and/or heightened public or media engagement.
SunLine retains the option to award separate contracts for PR and video work.
Response, due August 8, go to SunLine’s PlanetBids electronic portal.
