Our doddering president needs to stay up a little late tonight to tune into the downright giddy MAGA-fest held by The Trump Party in Milwaukee.

The TTP delegates are confident—with good reason—that their Mango Mussolini will return to the White House.

Hopefully, the Milwaukee festivities will be an eye-opener for Sleepy Joe, whose support among Democrats has cratered.

Nearly two thirds of Democrats want Biden to drop out of the race. The horrible optics of Biden coming down with COVID-19 on July 17 in the midst of the MAGA celebration in Wisconsin only adds to the Democratic distress.

While the Trump cultists celebrate their guys heroic PR response to the assassination, Old Joe is hustled off to Delaware for some isolation time. It doesn't get much worse than this.

Adam Schiff, California Congressman and key ally of former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, became the most prominent elected Democrat to urge 81-year-old Biden to “pass the torch,” as he had once promised.

By withdrawing from the presidential race, Biden “would secure his legacy of leadership by allowing us to defeat Donald Trump in the upcoming election,” said Schiff in a July 17 statement.

Schiff, who is running for the California Senate seat, believes a second Trump presidency would undermine the foundation of America’s democracy.

He has “serious concerns” about whether Biden can defeat Trump in November. Join the club, Adam. A Trump presidency wouldn't bode well for Schiff, who managed the impeachment proceeding and was dubbed "Shifty Schiff" by the former president who seeks retribution during his restoration.

As Democrats bolt for the exits, former adversaries of Trump go into full suck-up mode. It’s not clear who groveled the most on July 16.

Using Trump’s nicknames, was it Lil Marco Rubio who believes God protected Trump during the assassination attempt? Lord almighty, help us!

How about Lying Ted Cruz: “God bless Donald J. Trump”? Or Meatball Ron DeSantis: “Let’s send Joe Biden back to his basement and let’s send Donald Trump back to the White House.” Perhaps, it was Birdbrain Nikki Haley, who has sunk to full Trump endorsement mode.

Meanwhile as Biden (like the rest of us) ages each day, his polling numbers worsen. Unless he stumbles across the Fountain of Youth, the president is toast.

A survey conducted from July 4 to July 12 for The Times and Say24, a project of Stanford, Arizona State and Yale, found that Biden trails in the seven swing states of Arizona, Wisconsin, Nevada, George, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Michigan. Stick a fork in him.

While he trails, the Democratic Senate candidates are leading their opponents. Those leads will evaporate if stubborn Joe remains in the race. That’s what Schiff told a fundraiser event in New York on July 13.

Only Biden can prevent that Democratic wipeout. He must release his delegates for a free-for-all at the Democratic convention next month. Chaos, who cares. The Democrats hold a losing hand so there is nothing more to lose.

Trump, 78, selected 39-year-old JD Vance. Though nothing more than a rank opportunist, the Ohio Senator does add youthful energy to the MAGA ticket.

The Democrats need to do the same.

An aggressive Democratic presidential candidate (Gretchen Whitmer, Gavin Newsom, Kamala Harris or Josh Shapiro) would put an end to the party’s current malaise and fire up the base.

Joe must go, ASAP.

FARA Loves "Gold Bar" Bob Menendez… Jersey Senator Bob Menendez enters the Congressional Hall of Shame as the first sitting lawmaker convicted of being an agent of a foreign government.

As a US Senator, Menendez was not charged directly with violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act, rather he was charged for conspiring with his wife to act as a foreign agent of Egypt.

The high-profile case involving the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee adds momentum to the Justice Dept.'s effort to enforce FARA. It shines a bright spotlight on the law that went into effect to curb Nazi propaganda in the US.

Menendez plans to appeal. He denies ever being a foreign agent and said the court’s decision puts “at risk every member of the United States Senate in terms of what they think a foreign agent would be.”

Next up: Texas Congressman Henry Cuellar and his wife, who allegedly accepted $600K in bribes from the Government of Azerbaijan and a Mexican bank.

They are charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit bribery of a federal official, and to have a public official act as an agent of a foreign principal required to register under FARA.

More publicity is headed FARA's way.
