The U.S. Chamber of Commerce names former congressman Rodney Davis (R-IL) head of governmental affairs. Davis was most recently managing director at Cozen O’Connor Public Strategies. He previously represented Illinois's 13th congressional district from 2013 to 2023. Davis will head the chamber's lobbying efforts with the administration and Congress. “His deep relationships, policy expertise, and proven track record as a consensus builder around the toughest issues will be invaluable as the chamber continues to advocate for businesses and for a growth and opportunity agenda that benefits all Americans,” said U.S. Chamber of Commerce president and CEO Suzanne P. Clark.

Teneo appoints Jean-Sébastien Lamoureux as a managing director with the strategy and communications team in its Montréal office. Prior to joining Teneo, Lamoureux was SVP, affiliated dealers and public affairs at Canadian home improvement retailer RONA. Before that, he was VP of financial communications and Investor Relations at NATIONAL Public Relations, and served as VP at Investissement Québec, a governmental agency dedicated to the economic growth of the Province of Québec, where he was responsible for the organization’s subsidiaries and was chief of staff for the Québec Treasury Board.
