Dominic Hawkins, former director, public relations at TIAA, joins the NAACP as VP of communications. Hawkins previously served as VP public relations at Clyde Group, PR lead at Deloitte and director, public affairs as SKDK.
He has designed and implemented campaigns across sectors including tech, financial and professional services, regulatory and legal affairs, public health, and civil rights and social justice. Most recently, Hawkins was a communications advisor at PressKit, a journalist contact database and email delivery tracking system
In his new post, he will oversee integrated marketing communications programs spanning earned media, public relations, social media, email marketing, and internal communications, as well as providing strategic counsel to senior leadership on messaging, media opportunities and crisis response across communication channels.
