Hotwire Global brings on Natalia Sandin, a former Edelman EVP, as SVP, consumer for North America. Sandin joins Hotwire from travel and expense app Navan, where she served as VP, corporate marketing. She was previously head of global brand, social and corporate PR communications at Dolby. At Edelman, Sandin served as EVP, consumer group head. She will oversee Hotwire’s consumer practice, managing a portfolio of leading consumer technology clients and spearheading new business opportunities. “Her extensive experience and innovative approach will be invaluable as we continue to drive growth across the North America business, in our consumer practice and beyond,” said Hotwire North America CEO Heather Craft.

Eventbrite, a website that lets users create, promote and browse local events, as well as providing ticketing services, appoints Samantha Wu as CMO, effective Sept. 4. Wu was previously CMO at decentralized talent network Braintrust. She has also held marketing leadership roles at Meta/Facebook, Visa and American Express. “Sam brings invaluable experience leading teams through transformation and hypergrowth,” said Eventbrite co-founder and CEO Julia Hartz. The company has also promoted CFO Lanny Baker to the expanded role of chief operating and financial officer. Marketwatch reports that after Eventbrite reported second-quarter revenue that missed analysts' expectations, it cut about 100 jobs.

Integrated Systems Design, a systems integrator and manufacturer of automated warehouse, manufacturing and distribution systems, hires Ed Romaine as VP of marketing & business development. Romaine most recently held the same position at order fulfillment solutions company Conveyco Technologies. He has also held executive marketing and business development positions at Tompkins Robotics, SI Systems and Sapient Automation. In his new role, Romaine will oversee ISD's marketing strategies and business development initiatives. He will be instrumental in identifying new opportunities and fostering strategic partnerships. "His wealth of experience, deep industry knowledge, and proven track record of success will be invaluable as we continue to grow and innovate in the automated systems integration and manufacturing space,” said ISD vice president Tony Morgot.
