The International Dairy Foods Association promotes Matt Herrick, who served as director of communications for the USDA in both the Obama and Biden administrations, to EVP, chief impact officer. Herrick was previously the IDFA’s SVP of public affairs and communications. He has also served as managing director, communications at the Rockefeller Foundation, an SVP at Story Partners and director of media and public relations for Oxfam America. In his new position, Herrick will coordinate efforts across the association to drive policy, advocacy, communications, and social impact strategies in coordination with IDFA’s executive team members and subject matter experts. He will continue to oversee public affairs, communications, and manage the IDFA Foundation. “It is essential that we create a shared vision for the future that includes growing markets, supporting innovation, contributing to a more sustainable food system, sharing dairy’s positive story on health and nutrition, and building a diverse and inclusive workforce. With more than two decades of experience and leadership in food and agriculture communications and social impact, Matt will help us do that,” said IDFA president and CEO Michael Dykes, D.V.M.
Noah Albro |
DCG (District Communications Group) brings on Noah Albro as chief strategy officer. Albro comes to the firm from healthcare and next-gen tech and consulting services company CVP (Customer Value Partners), where he served as VP of marketing, communications and change. He was previously VP of integrated communications at government contracting firm Barbaricum, a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business. In his new role, Albro will develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans while collaborating closely with team leads on growth, delivery, and operations. He will also work with DCG’s cross-functional teams to identify emerging trends, develop scalable systems, capitalize on market opportunities, and anticipate potential challenges.
Kareem Cervantes |
The Many, an integrated marketing agency, hires Kareem Cervantes as marketing and communications director. Cervantes was most recently head of marketing and communications at NVE Experience Agency. He has also served as integrated marketing and strategy manager at Rogers & Cowan and marketing and communications manager at Assembly Global.At The Many, Cervantes will oversee the agency’s marketing efforts and help to amplify its philosophy around participatory marketing. “Having someone like Kareem with his experience and expertise in industry visibility and marketing will help tell our unique story at such a pivotal point in the agency's journey,” said The Many managing director Maggie Cadigan.
