Formedics, the healthcare professional community and engagement platform, has acquired AMC Media, a healthcare publisher, digital marketer and events operation.
Based in Basking Ridge, NJ, Formedics’ properties include Physician’s Weekly, Figure 1 and OncWeekly.
The AMC deal increases its healthcare professional reach by more 60 percent to a network of 1.5M physicians, nurse practitioners, PAs and allied health professionals.
Greg Jackson, CEO of Formedics, said AMC’s portfolio is vital to position his company as “the go-to partner for healthcare professionals seeking trusted peer learning and medical information to support better clinical decisions."
Teaming with Formedics “allows our brand partners to drive more impactful results through cross-platform engagement,” added Gene Conselyea, CEO of AMC, which is headquartered in Manalapan, NJ.
