Kekst CNC represents Agriculture & Natural Solutions Acquisition Corp. as it acquires Australian Food & Agriculture Co. in a SPAC deal valued at $510M.
The stock is expected to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
Riverstone Holdings LLC, which has raised $43B in capital since its 2000 launch, and Impact AG Partners sponsor the ANSC SPAC.
AFAC, which traces its history back to 1861, is one of Australia’s biggest diversified agriculture companies. It raises sheep and cattle; and grows crops such as cotton, rice, wheat, barley, canola, corn, chick peas and faba beans.
David Leuschen, ANSC chair and a third-generation Montana rancher, said the AFAC deal represents a once in a generation chance to combine with a major Australian agricultural company that owns some of that country’s most iconic properties.
