Christensen previously served as CMO at Hexagon, a company providing digital reality solutions that combine sensor, software and autonomous technologies. At AEX, she will work to establish the company’s sales and marketing vision as well as overseeing sales operations, brand strategy, customer experience, and go-to-market initiatives. Oligo Security, an open-source cybersecurity platform, appoints Mike O’Malley as CMO. O’Malley most recently served as CMO of computer and network security company Noname Security, which was acquired by Akamai this June. He has also held leadership roles at CyberArk, 128 Technology (acquired by Juniper), EMC, Acme Packet and VMware. He has a track record of successfully launching products in emerging markets, scaling global demand engines and driving business strategy through multiple stages of substantial growth. “Mike brings expertise and demonstrated success across the marketing and go-to-market disciplines, as well as a deep understanding of the cybersecurity market—all of which will be critical as we take Oligo through its next stages of accelerated growth,” said Oligo Security CEO and co-founder Nadav Czerninski.

VSS Capital Partners, a private investment firm investing in the healthcare, education and business services industries, hires David Fann as senior managing director and head of investor relations. Fann comes to VSS from Apogem Capital, where he was vice chairman and senior managing director. He has also held executive posts at Aksia, TorreyCove Capital Partners and PCG Asset Management. At VSS, he will oversee investor relations and fundraising. “David’s private markets experience and institutional investor network will be an invaluable asset to VSS as we look to capitalize on next market opportunities,” said VSS managing director Patrick Turner.
