The National Grocers Association hires David Cutler as VP of media relations and public affairs. Cutler most recently served as director of public affairs and strategic engagement for the National Association for Gifted Children. He was previously director of advocacy and research at the TESOL International Association. Based in Washington, DC, Cutler will devise communication and public affairs strategies addressing various issues as well as overseeing media relations. “David’s background makes him well suited for developing and executing a communications strategy that aligns with our public policy objectives,” said NGA chief communications and engagement officer and SVP Laura Strange. NGA has also brought on Dean Longhofer, who previously led the data program at the Grocery Manufacturers Association, as its senior manager for membership and data management.

Dreamday, an LA-based agency that combines traditional PR with affiliate marketing, brings on Taylor Osumi as SVP. Osumi comes to Dreamday from Konnect Agency, where she served as a VP. Before that, she was a VP at Autumn Communications and senior PR manager at Infinity Creative Agency. Osumi has led PR efforts for such companies as Expedia, General Motors, LinkedIn, Kraft Natural Cheese and Therabody. At Dreamday, she will work to expand the agency’s client roster and broaden its managed services. “I can’t imagine anyone better suited to drive our agency’s growth, enhance our client strategies and expand our service offerings,” said Dreamday founder and CEO Lauren Kleinman.

Parker is also founder & CEO of RKP Media, an entertainment + brand marketing and PR firm. He has held publicity and media relations posts with “The Late Show with David Letterman,” Central Talent Booking, Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation and Hill & Knowlton. Parker will lead Red Coral Universe's strategic initiatives to enhance brand visibility, engage audiences and amplify the platform's artist-first philosophy globally. The company has also brought on Fisnik Bizati as VP of acquisitions.
