Edelman opens an office in Lima, Peru. With a 30-year history in Latin America, the agency already has operations in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico, and a regional team of 670 specialists. Carolina Palacios, who was previously South America president at Burson, will lead the new office as general manager. This expansion is part of a broader strategy to strengthen Edelman's presence in the region and highlights the agency’s belief in LATAM’s economic potential. The region represents a key part of the company’s global business, having experienced the highest growth within the firm in recent years. “Peru is a key market for many of our clients, and this new step will enable us to provide even greater support across our region,” said Edelman Latin America CEO Mariana Sanz.
