Brunswick Group has hired David Cheong, a seasoned professional and financial services headhunter, as partner and head of senior hiring. He’s based in New York.
Most recently at Antler Capital venture capital firm, Cheong has more than 20 years of executive recruitment experience.
As Antler’s global head of executive talent, Cheong guided the firm’s expansion into 27 markets across six continents.
Earlier, Cheong had recruitment positions at McKinsey, Spencer Stuart, and GIC – Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund.
Henry Timms, Brunswick's new CEO, said the addition of Cheong underscores the firm’s commitment to attracting and retaining top talent.
The former CEO of New York’s Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Timms took the Brunswick helm last month. He replaced Neal Wolin, who slid into the vice chairman post.
