Springcoast Capital Partners, a growth equity firm that works with software and technology companies, names Jennifer Spendlove head of investor relations, a newly created role. Spendlove was most recently managing director at global asset management firm Oaktree Capital Management, where she oversaw investor communications and fundraising and spearheaded the closings of multiple oversubscribed funds. Before that, she was a VP in the investment management division of Goldman Sachs. At Springcoast, Spendlove will develop and implement the company’s IR strategy, serving as a primary contact for limited partners and ensuring that investor communications provide clear insights into Springcoast’s strategic initiatives, portfolio updates and investment performance. “Jennifer’s track record in building a world-class investor relations program makes her an excellent addition to our team,” said Springcoast managing partner and co-founder Grant Wentworth. “We are confident her leadership will further enhance our engagement with investors.”

Dow Jones promotes Ashok Sinha, who has served as SVP, head of communications since last September, to chief communications officer, In his previous post, he oversaw all corporate communications functions globally, including public relations, internal, external, executive and financial communications. Before joining Dow Jones, Sinha held the SVP, head of communications spot at multi-platform content and entertainment company Audacy. Before that, he was VP, corporate communications at WarnerMedia; SVP, corporate communications at Publicis Media; and VP, corporate communications at Current TV. “He has rebuilt and led our communications team to effectively craft and share our story globally across functions,” said Dow Jones CEO Almar Latour. “Ashok’s leadership in the role of CCO will be critically important as we drive our business forward.”
