PRSA selects a group of six communications professionals and content creators for its PRSA ICON 2026 Creator Collective, a pilot initiative to bring fresh voices and perspectives to the annual conference, which will run Oct. 18–20 at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, FL.
Creator Collective members will develop and share original content before, during and after the conference, providing their audiences with an inside look at the people, ideas and experiences shaping the future of communications. Each participant will receive complimentary registration to the conference, which is the largest gathering of communications professionals.
They were selected following a competitive application process that drew interest from a diverse group of communications professionals.
The six members of the 2026 Creator Collective are: Daniel Mendez Arostica, founder of #CommsJobs, a LinkedIn community of over 24,000 communications professionals worldwide; PRESSFWD founder and managing director Omari Evans; Michelle Garrett, author of business bestseller, B2B PR That Gets Results; PRocon director of communications and public relations Kourtney Janeau; Brittany Mobley, director of communication for Ferndale Schools & Ferndale Educational Foundation; and social intern @ HEYDUDE Melissa Rodriguez.
“The Creator Collective is especially meaningful because it was conceived by our communications manager, Courtney Vance, who is always looking for creative ways to connect PRSA with the communications community,” said PRSA chief communications officer Linda Beltran. “Courtney’s vision reflects the creativity and initiative that define our team. This is exactly the kind of innovation that will move PRSA forward while creating new opportunities for communications professionals to showcase their voices, creativity and unique perspectives.”
PRSA has also announced the recipients of the 2026 Emerging Professional Awards, recognizing rising leaders who are already making a meaningful impact across the public relations and communications profession.
The Emerging Professional Awards Ceremony will also be presented in conjunction with PRSA ICON 2026.
