Alexander Hirsch, who served as head of marketing platforms at the World Economic Forum, joins WISeKey, a global cybersecurity, digital identity and IoT company, as group CMO.
Hirsch was most recently senior director of EMEA executive field marketing at Salesforce, where he spearheaded global partnership initiatives and oversaw the region’s Salesforce Innovation Centers.
At the WEF, he drove strategic communications for such gatherings as its Annual Meeting, and spearheaded the experience design and platform adoption of TopLink, the organization’s private, members-only digital platform and mobile app.
In his new position, Hirsch will work to strengthen the common narrative connecting the WISeKey Group’s technologies, from digital identity and post-quantum semiconductors to quantum infrastructure and secure satellite communications, while coordinating corporate communications, investor-facing marketing, digital strategy, major events, strategic partnerships and international brand development.
“Alexander’s combination of technology understanding, international marketing leadership and experience with organizations such as Salesforce and the World Economic Forum makes him particularly well suited for this role,” said WISeKey founder and CEO Carlos Moreira.
