Seven professionals, including actresses Melissa Rose Hirsch and Sarah Evans Kronenberg, brightened the 2014 "Financial Follies" of the New York Financial Writers Assn. at the Marriott Marquis.
Coverage of the "Financial Follies" Nov. 21 lacked idents but we finally have them. Seven of the 14 performers on stage are professional actors and actresses.
Hirsch recently received a degree in Theatre Performance and Musical Theatre from Marymount Manhattan College and has been in mainstage performances and cabarets in college and in various places in New York. She studied at Cap21's Pre-College Musical Theatre Summer Intensive and a summer at the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts.
Kronenberg, a graduate of Salve Regina University, Newport, R.I., receiving a B.A. in Cultural and Historic Preservation with a theatre minor, has been in numerous plays including Cabaret, Dracula, Little Women and The Happy Prince.
Cast members included Laura Josepher, director of the NYFWA show; Kyle Gugliemo, a professional singer (baritone); Jim Clark, stage manager; Sheila Mullan, Market News Int’l; Dave Graubard, Informa Global Markets; Carolyn Crapo, Dubrick & Assocs., and Sherry Hsieh, e-commerce coordinator with LaMer/Jo Malone Int’l Online, The Este Lauder Cos., who made her show debut this year.
