5W Public Relations is repping televangelist Creflo Dollar, who has come under fire for his bid to raise $65M from his followers to buy a private jet.
Dollar, who preaches the "gospel of prosperity," had asked his 200K-member flock to kick in $300 apiece to bankroll the purchase of a Gulfstream 6350 jet.
The ministry's "Project G650 Campaign" referred to the donations as "love gifts" to be earmarked for the replacement of Dollar's its 32-year-old plane, which has logged more than 4M miles.
The appeal noted safety concerns with the current plane, which recently lost power.
Dollar on March 16 dropped the donation drive and is looking for another way to raise cash, according to The Christian Post.
Dollar founded the World Changers Church in 1986 at College Park, GA. WCC opened in New York in 2004. The NYC outpost is co-pastored by Dollar's wife, Taffi.
According to his website, Dollar teaches "total life prosperity-spiritual, physical, mental, emotional and financial well-being. He teaches on everything from marriage and family to prayer, physical fitness, character development and discipline."
