5W Public Relations today is hosting Indian billionaire Subhash Chandra at a press conference at its New York office to announce groundbreaking of the Veria Nature Cure and Ayurvedic Wellness Center slated for Monticello, NY.
The location is home of the fabled Kutsher's Country Club, once the grand resort of the Catskill Mountains' Borscht Belt.
Closed in 2013, Chandra paid about $8.2M for Kutshers' as part of his $90M plan to build a complex featuring alternative medical treatment, yoga sciences, golf, tennis and "biodynamic restaurants" complex.
The golden shovel day for the nature cure lifestyle management center is slated for June 21, which is International Yoga Day.
Chandra runs India's Essel Group, which is led by Zee Entertainment TV broadcaster that reaches 730M viewers in about 170 nations.
He also owns a network of 50K ATMs in India.
