Forrest joins LaVoie from animal health and medicine company Zoetis, where he was vice president of communications. A former Pfizer subsidiary, Zoetis is the world's largest producer of vaccinations for pets and livestock. Prior to Zoetis, Forrest headed market access and patient advocacy for Novartis Oncology’s Latin America region, and also previously served as vice president of investor relations and communications for biotechnology company Chiron Corporation. Forrest also held commercial roles at Baxter Healthcare, where he promoted device therapies for end-stage kidney and heart disease.

Forrest will now offer strategic counsel to the agency's roster of healthcare-related clients. LaVoieHealthScience President and CEO Donna LaVoie called Forrest an “important strategic addition,” and said his background “provides our clients a pragmatic and integrated perspective across the stakeholder mix.”

Boston-based LaVoieHealthScience took in nearly $1.3 million in healthcare-related net fees in 2014, according to O’Dwyer’s rankings of PR firms.
