New Orleans-based lifestyle, travel and food/beverage agency Deveney has been named agency of record for Bayou Rum.
Louisiana-based Bayou Rum produces American rum made from Louisiana sugarcane and handcrafted in traditional copper pot stills. The company, which was founded in 2011, distills and bottles its product from a 36,000 square-foot facility in Lacassine, Louisiana, the largest private rum distillery in the country.
Bayou Rum recently embarked on an exclusive national distribution partnership with Stoli Group USA, the New York-based subsidiary of SPI Group.
Deveney will now lead content strategy and communications development duties for Bayou Rum, elevating awareness of the brand and sharing its story as the company expands into new national markets.
Deveney, which holds an additional office in West Palm Beach, Florida, was founded in 1996. Clients include the Louisiana Office of Tourism, the New Orleans Conventional & Visitors Bureau, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Arnaud’s and Windsor Court Hotel.
