Darlan Monterisi, partner and New York managing director for Porter Novelli, is moving to CA Technologies next month as senior VP of corporate communications.
She fills a role vacated by CA chief communications officer Jeff Demarrais in February, when he decamped for the chief external relations post at IBM.
Monterisi led the Hewlett-Packard account at PN and earlier directed global PR for Rockstar Games, publisher of the popular and controversial Grand Theft Auto series of video games.
She starts at CA on May 9, reporting to CMO Lauren Flaherty.
Publicly traded CA, the former Computer Associates, is based in New York. Revenue for 2015 topped $4.2B.
Monterisi was a US Marine Corps officer, spokeswoman and PA officer.
