Philadelphia-based PR agency Kimball Communications has appointed Eileen Coyne to the role of public relations manager.
Coyne was previously an account manager at Baltimore-based PR and marketing agency IMRE, where she oversaw a key insurance client. Prior to that she was a senior communications coordinator at Columbus-based insurance giant Nationwide Insurance.
Before her career in PR, Coyne worked as a journalist, serving as a business reporter for American City Business Journals property Columbus Business First, as well as a reporter for daily trade newspaper The American Banker.
Coyne will now use her expertise in the insurance and association industries to manage Kimball’s client accounts.
Kimball, which was founded in 1995, specializes in insurance, real estate, tourism and associations.
Wendy Carhart, who rose to the chief communications, culture & purpose post at Real Chemistry, has moved to the Learning Care Group.
