Candace McCaffery, an agency vet and senior VP of global marketing for Powa Technologies, has moved to Cohn & Wolfe to head its Atlanta office as managing director.
She takes the reins from Stephen Brown, who decamped for a senior VP slot at Cookerly PR in September.
McCaffrey, who led marketing for Powa Technologies' PowaPOS retail technology platform, was previously chief strategy officer for Cookerly PR in Atlanta. She also consulted for Porter Novelli and started out with Maizie Hale PR and the Atlanta Paralympic Games.
McCaffery reports to C&W Americas president Jim Joseph. Atlanta is a key office for C&W and was the agency's first location.
