New York-based food, wine and spirits agency Teuwen Communications has broken ground on a second office, located in San Francisco.
The agency’s Bay Area bureau is slated to open in May.
The West Coast shop will be managed by Teuwen vice president Louise Jordan, who relocates from New York for the role. Jordan will co-manage the agency's current wine clients while cultivating new business opportunities and increasing media and trade programming on the West Coast, with a focus on strengthening relationships with wineries in California, Oregon and Washington State.
Teuwen, which was founded in 1995 by president Stephanie Teuwen, manages food and wine brands from around the world. Clients include Esporão, Falesco, Bordeaux Wines, Le Pain Quotidien, Le Botaniste, Wines of Alsace, Rhône Valley Wines, Côtes de Bordeaux, Saint-Emilion-Pomerol-Fronsac, Champagne Laurent-Perrier, Elena Watch and Goat Cheeses of France.
