Caitlin Conant, a communications director for Marco Rubio's presidential campaign, has landed at CBS News in Washington, D.C., as communications director for the D.C. bureau and "Face the Nation."
Conant spent three months with the Rubio campaign and was drafted from the office of Rep. Rob Portman, where she was press secretary and later communications director. Her husband, Alex conant, was press secretary to Rubio in the Senate and communications director for Rubio's campaign.
Caitlin Conant was press secretary to Sen. Richard Burr and a press aide for former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty's 2011 presidential bid.
