New York-based media buyer Horizon Media has hired Publicis’ Tanvir Hannan as head of conversations, a new position at the media services agency.
The news was reported by MediaPost.
Hannan was previously senior vice president and director of strategic research and analytics at Publicis Worldwide. He first joined the French ad/PR conglomerate in 2007, when he served as vice president and senior strategist. Prior to that he was a senior account manager at market research company Ipsos-ASI and a senior account executive at brand and communications research agency Hall and Partners.
As head of conversations, Hannan will now lead Horizon’s consumer-based research in the agency’s research unit, Why Group. He will be stationed in New York City and report to Why Group chief Sheri Roder.
Horizon Media, which was founded in 1989, maintains additional offices in Los Angeles, San Diego and Chicago.
