Melanie Howard, a seasoned insurance sector marketing and PR exec, has moved to the American Association of Insurance Services as director of communications for the Lisle, Ill.-based rating bureau.
Howard was recently communications lead for Great-West Financial and VP of marketing for Charter Financial in Denver.
AAIS is the 85-year-old insurance advisory group for the property and casualty insurance sector.
She worked on the agency side for Edelman and Hill+Knowlton Strategies and ran her own Los Angeles shop, Shepherd Howard for two years.
