Dennis Alpert, a White House aide to Al Gore and public affairs hand for Wal-Mart, has moved to Pfizer in a government relations and PA role.
Based in Nashville, Alpert serves as regional director for advocacy and PA as a part of the drug maker’s US government relations unit in the South.
He was recently president of public strategies firm Hidden Bay Group in Nashville and earlier managed PA and government relations for Wal-Mart in Nashville and Washington, D.C.
Earlier posts included the Laborers’ International Union of North America, the PGA Tour and the National Association of Letter Carriers.
At the White House, he was a senior advisor, director of advance and trip director for Vice President Al Gore.
