African press release distribution supplier the African Press Organization has launched a new press release distribution and monitoring service dedicated to the Middle East and North Africa regions.
APO claims its new MENA Wire service would distribute content to media, websites, blogs and social media in 18 countries throughout the Middle East and North Africa, with a potential reach of 250 million through a distribution channel of local and international partners in the region, including Bloomberg Terminal, Thomson Reuters Terminal, Lexis Nexis, Dow Jones Factiva, SyndiGate and MENAFN.
The African press release wire, whose service currently reaches 150,000 media contacts, bloggers, social networks throughout Africa, said its goal is to become the top press release distribution and monitoring supplier in the MENA region within the next two years.
APO is currently the sole supplier of press release wire distribution and monitoring in Africa. The company, which was founded in 2007, has offices in Senegal, Switzerland and Dubai. APO, which previously maintained a partnership with PR Newswire, terminated that agreement in 2012.
