Martha Carlos, who led communications for the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago, has moved to the American Brain Tumor Association in Chicago as chief communications officer for the patient advocacy organization focused on brain tumor research.
Carlos spent 10 years at the Red Cross in the Windy City rising to chief communications officer with oversight for marketing, communications, media relations, internal comms., digital and advocacy.
She started out with the Detroit-area's Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute and held marketing posts at crisis center Common Ground Sanctuary.
