The D.C.-area firm, which specializes in broadcast media relations, radio and satellite media tours, PSAs and video production, opened the financial district outpost in August.
Lyons PR president Dan Lyons told O’Dwyer’s that the broadcast firm embarked on a Bay Area location to better serve its clients in that region.
“After serving clients on the West Coast for over a decade, establishing a formal presence in the Bay Area was the logical next step,” Lyons said. “The demand for our services, particularly satellite and radio media tours, has been high and we’re looking forward to continuing to grow in the market and across the region.”
Lyons' new office, which is led by senior account executive Cherise Washington, will add staff within the coming months. Agency clients include Honest Tea, Toyo Tires, American Gas Association and the U.S. Library of Congress’ Veterans History Project.

When executed properly, PSAs have unique staying power and register with the viewer on a much different level than mere ads trying to sell something, explained 4media group chief client officer Laura Pair at the Mid-Atlantic MarCom Summit Oct. 9 in Washington, D.C.
