Chicago-based agency Public Communications Inc.
has appointed Johnathon Briggs senior vice president of digital.
Briggs, who joined PCI in 2013 as vice president, was previously chief officer of external relations for the AIDS Foundation of Chicago. He was a journalist prior to entering the PR field, reporting for publications such as the Baltimore Sun, Los Angeles Times
and Chicago Tribune.
As senior digital VP, Briggs will develop, manage and market the agency’s digital strategies and offerings.
PCI in 2015 accounted for more than $5.8 million in net fees, according to O’Dwyer’s rankings of PR firms.
