The Cayman Islands Department of Tourism has renewed its ongoing account with Coyne PR, according to Foreign Agents Registration Act documents filed September 26.
The British-controlled territory’s DOT initially hired Coyne last year after a competitive review. That agreement, which became effective May 1, 2015, charged Coyne with providing communications, PR and marketing services work for the DOT that includes strategic counsel, program development, press outreach and sponsorship and partnership activation.
Other Coyne travel/tourism accounts include Disney Parks & Resorts, Motel 6, Outrigger Hotels and Resorts and Wyndham Worldwide.
Also in September, the Cayman Islands Ministry of Financial Services, Commerce & Environment hired San Francisco-based law firm Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP to provide legislative and public policy advice regarding the Ministry’s education and advocacy program in the U.S.

The Illinois Dept. of Commerce and Economic Opportunity’s Office of Tourism has awarded MMGY Global its worldwide PR, social media and trade representative account.
