Global Strategic Alliance, a Wellington, FL-based non-profit ministry focused on the global refugee crisis, has hired lobbying firm J.M. Burkman Associates for help with refugee issues on Capitol Hill.

GSA co-sponsored H.R. 1568, otherwise known as “Protecting Religious Minorities Persecuted by ISIS Act of 2015,” which would have directed the Secretary of State to establish refugee processing mechanisms in countries such as Iraq and Syria for those who or may be persecuted by ISIS or a similar terrorist group. The non-profit has also worked with global and domestic immigration services for the establishment of safe havens to aid asylum-seeking refugees.
The GSA account will be managed by J.M. Burkman founder and president Jack Burkman, a former Fox News political analyst who previously served as legislative council to Rep. Rick Lazio (R-NY); and Ralph Palmieri, a former staff VP of Lockheed Martin Information Systems and COO at Lockheed subsidiary Sytex Group.
Burkman also hosts a national radio talk show on Radio America titled “Behind the Curtain.”
