Costa Mesa, CA-based PR, advertising and branding shop Idea Hall has appointed Rachel Svoboda to the role of vice president of business development, a new position at the independent agency.

Svoboda joins Idea Hall from Santa Ana, CA-based ad agency Amusement Park, where she held the title of marketing director and led that agency’s global marketing and communications initiatives. Prior to that, she was an assistant director at the American Association of Advertising Agencies and was also previously director of marketing at Orange County ad agency DGWB. She is currently serving as president of the American Advertising Federation Orange County.
As business development VP, Svoboda will help develop Idea Hall’s marketing and new business generation, and will work to grow the agency’s legacy B2B and commercial real estate business.
Idea Hall, which specializes in fintech, lifestyle, real estate, public affairs and consumer PR, was founded in 2003.
