Carolyn Izzo Integrated Communications (CIIC) has been named agency of record for the Caribe Hilton in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Opened in 1949 as the first Hilton property outside of the U.S., the hotel has the distinction of being the birthplace of the piña colada cocktail.
This is CIIC’s first client in Puerto Rico and bolsters their growing roster of Caribbean hotels and resorts. The 916-room property sits on seventeen garden-like acres with panoramic sea, lagoon and garden views.
“We are thrilled to be in partnership with CIIC, a firm that has an impressive track record in the hospitality space and has a presence in our top two markets – New York and Miami,” said Pablo Torres, Caribe Hilton’s general manager.
CIIC was founded in 1996 and handles travel, food and beverage, beauty and lifestyle clients out of offices in New York and Miami. It is certified as a woman-owned business by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.
