Boutique travel PR firm TURNER has been picked to represent The Hoxton hotel brand’s first foray into North America with the opening of The Hoxton Williamsburg in New York City’s Brooklyn borough.
The Hotel’s website says that the Williamsburg is an “eclectic and vibrant neighborhood that embodies all that we love at The Hoxton.”
Along with 175 rooms, the hotel will have both a main level and rooftop bar and restaurant. Plans are to work with local creatives through a series of monthly events.

TURNER has expanded its roster recently with the hiring of Nick Hoppe as VP, digital, to help clients with digital content marketing with social media strategy.
Senior director Laura Pettitt will use her experience at agencies in New York City and Los Angeles to head up TURNER’s luxury hospitality segment. Senior account supervisor Katie Bonneau rounds out the new team members.
Founded in 1997 by president Christine Turner, the firm represents resorts, destinations and lifestyle brands from office in New York City, Chicago and Denver. It is the fifth largest firm in O’Dwyer’s ranking of travel PR firms by ’15 net fees.
