St. Louis-based agriculture-focused agency Osborn Barr announced that it has acquired Nashville digital creative shop Paramore Digital.
Financial terms of the transaction were not publicly disclosed.
Full-service agency Paramore, which was founded in 2002, specializes in strategy, content, design, development and marketing for clients in the the tourism, education, finance and food service sectors. Current clients include the Nashville Chamber of Commerce, Vanderbilt University and Visit Central Florida.
The agency, which had already been collaborating with O+B for a year prior to the acquisition announcement, will maintain its brand identity and will remain in its current Nashville office. O+B now staffs a total of 145 in light of the acquisition.

Osborn Barr president Rhonda Ries told O’Dwyer’s that the acquisition strengthens and expands O+B’s digital capabilities in addition to giving the agency a foothold in the growing Nashville market.
“This acquisition offers expansion for us both in terms of client base and geographic reach, which is critical for the longevity of the combined companies,” Ries said. “This is also a strategic move from a talent standpoint. About 80 people move to Nashville every day, making it a hotbed for talent we'll need as we continue to expand our national reach.”
Osborn Barr, which lists clients such as the United Soybean Board, Merck Animal Health, Michelin, Morton Buildings, Monsanto and Verdesian Life Sciences, maintains a third office in Kansas City, MO.
