The Atlanta outpost, which is currently open, is helmed by VP Philip Hauserman, an Atlanta native. Hauserman is responsible for establishing The Castle Group’s presence in the city as well as throughout the Southeast, and will continue focusing on the agency’s education and crisis practices.
Hauserman is currently The Castle Group’s only team member on the ground in the city, though the agency plans to expand the practice.
Castle Group co-founder and principal Sandy Lish told O’Dwyer’s that the agency set its sights on Atlanta as a means of better servicing the agency’s growing client roster in the Southeast, and the city serves as an ideal location for the agency to expand its brand and national reach.
“The Castle Group’s work and client based has expanded beyond New England,” Lish said. “With Atlanta as the gateway to the South, Castle is expanding its national footprint across the United States.”
Castle Group, which focuses on PR, events management, crisis communications and digital, was founded in 1996. The PRGN member firm maintains a third office in Maui.
