New York-based travel and lifestyle agency Quinn has planted its flag on the west coast with the addition of a new office in Los Angeles.
The agency’s new downtown LA digs, which is located in the WeWork Fine Arts Building, officially opened in May.

The LA outpost will be led by senior VP Sandra Hurtado, who joined Quinn’s New York office in 2012 after repping real estate, architecture and design clients at Miami-based shop Zakarin Martinez Public Relations.
Quinn president Florence Quinn told O’Dwyer’s that the agency’s success in Miami, which broke ground less than five years ago with one person and now staffs a dozen, gave the firm the confidence to try its hand in the Los Angeles market.
“From an economic standpoint it helped that we already have clients in LA and California as well as Hawaii. When Sandra said she would move from Quinn NYC to open Quinn LA it was a go,” Quinn said. “There is tremendous growth in LA in the hotel and real estate sectors, two of our sweet spots, and a general need for PR firms with multiple offices as the world continues to shrink.”
Quinn told O’Dwyer’s that the agency’s LA’s portfolio already includes architect Ma Yansong and private jet company XOJET, as well as several Hawaii-based hotel and restaurant brands.
Quinn, which maintains additional offices in New York and Miami, is one of the top 50 firms in the U.S. with $8.4 million in net fees last year, revealing 15.8 percent growth from the year prior.
