Pam Media, which was founded in 2014, is a media and communications production company that creates advertisements for commercial products and services. It is owned by independent, Sulaymaniyah-based media network Nalia Media Corporation, which owns satellite TV and radio stations throughout Iraq's Kurdistan Region.
The public affairs giant has been hired to “engage the Executive and Legislative Branches of the Government on foreign relations and policy issues between the U.S. and Iraq/Kurdistan region,” according to lobbying registration documents filed in June. Those issues pertain to trade and development, as well as potential U.S. legislation, policy or regulatory actions “that could impact the U.S./Iraq relationship.”
The account will be handled by Brian Lanza, a managing director in Mercury’s Washington D.C. office who was formerly communications director for President Trump’s transition team and deputy communications director for the Trump-Pence presidential campaign
